So basically, the web host got tired of dealing with the constant legal threats from the CoS and decided to temporarily take down sandiegoanon.com.

We have a few options at this point -

1) I can continue to work with them on finding a solution but I'm also getting tired of the back and forth bullshit between us, Tom Newton wannabes, and the CoS.

2) We can find a new hosting server for the site

3) We can upgrade and make some changed to the front page of the forum and have sandiegoanon.com point directly here to the forum instead. Everything will be preserved as our forumhost tends to be alot more liberal when it comes to the content we post here.

I'm personally leaning towards the third option as no data would be lost until we find a solution to the problem.

Let me know what you all think.

tell current host that our website is strictly freedom of speech and we're not doing anything illegal, so the COS can lick our balls... their lawsuits are frivolous and if anything prove how nuts COS is... let them know if they're gonna be pussies we'll spend our money somewhere else.... which i can prolly find us something for relatively free

The "home page" of the forum can contain all the information that was on the "old" page, just point SanDiegoAnon.com to the forum.

Of course, the body thetans will no doubt follow the new DNS record to the forums, and complain about it too, but this is understood.

Posting information about Co$ complaints would make for fun reading, perhaps provide us with ideas for defensive actions. I , for one, would like to know who is fucking with us. Evil or Very Mad

I would say either the second option.. we can be a little, how would I put it, crude at times.

If the third, I would reccomend adding a warning or something that what we say isn't intended as a serious insult to any person or get a section on 888 for SD.

You should seriously ask for a copy of their legal threats. That's a bunch of fucking horse shit.

I think it would be just the host, not the domain name.. based on a whois, the domain expires next year sometime.
